Acknowledgement of Country
We respectfully acknowledge the Dharawal people as the traditional custodians of the Gangagruwan, Kangaroo Valley in which we live and work. We recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities and we pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders both past, present and emerging.
We endeavour to show this respect practically at the Festival of Canoe and Kayak by including Aboriginal people socially, culturally and economically.
